About this opportunity
Job Overview
FRESME advertises a full-time Lead Full-Stack FinTech Engineer (Banking APIs) role supporting digital banking infrastructure. The vacancy allows placement in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with visa sponsorship, or placement at the company's Pakistan engineering centre with regular travel to the Gulf. Applicants should use the employer's own job-specific application page.
Responsibilities
Architect and develop scalable microservices for payment processing and integration with banking systems. Integrate payment networks and services such as Mada, Visa, Mastercard, STC Pay, 1Link and Raast. Design secure REST and GraphQL interfaces suited to SAMA open-banking requirements. Lead code reviews, support secure development practices and automated deployment pipelines, and mentor engineers working across distributed teams.
Qualifications and Experience
The employer requests at least six years of production experience in backend or full-stack development. Relevant languages and frameworks include Node.js and TypeScript, Go, Python or Java, alongside React. Candidates should have worked on payment gateways, digital wallets or core banking integrations, rather than relying only on general website development experience.
Technical Skills
The role calls for database and infrastructure familiarity with PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka or RabbitMQ, Docker and Kubernetes. Security knowledge should include cryptographic protocols, mutual TLS, JWT, hardware security module integration and tokenisation. Experience with SAMA Sandbox, CBB or State Bank of Pakistan approvals is advantageous. AWS or Google Cloud architecture certification and React Native or Flutter mobile SDK experience are also listed as desirable rather than mandatory.
Location and Eligibility
The employer explicitly lists two placement options: Riyadh, where the role advertises visa sponsorship, or its engineering hub in Pakistan with periodic GCC travel. This supports eligibility for Pakistan-based applicants, although the employer determines the final assignment, contract and immigration process. This is not described as a fully remote job. Salary and a firm closing date are not stated in the currently indexed English job notice; neither has been estimated.
Application Instructions
Open the FRESME vacancy page and use its dedicated application form. It requests the applicant's name and email address and provides options for a phone number, LinkedIn profile and cover letter. A CV upload in PDF, DOC or DOCX format is supported. The employer states that submitted applications are reviewed after receipt. Check the live form and current vacancy status before applying; PakJobsGlobal is not the hiring organisation and does not collect or forward applications.
